I am having an issue with displaylink and scaling when connecting to an XGA projector using a hdmi-vga adapter.
The issue seems to be that displaylink believes the hdmi-vga adapter is native 1080p. When I select 1024x768, it still displays 1920x1080 and shows a cropped 1024x768 image in the center.
Connecting the projector directly to the computer's hdmi output works correctly so its definitely a displaylink issue. I have tried 2 different adapters with the same results.
There appears to be no way to adjust scaling or manually input the displays native resolution. Very frustrating...
This was not an issue before upgrading to windows 10 with the latest displaylink drivers. Same laptop with windows 8.1 and there were no issues.
