Hello, Using 7.9 M2 with windows 10 clean install.
after login all is working for 3 to 10 minuets the screen stop working and image is frozen, and after another minute or so the device would be rejected as if it was unplugged and windows that was open on the usb device would be moved to another screen while the image on usb screen still frozen.
the only way i can fix that is by unplugging the device manually and re plugging in same USB outlet.
for rest of the day all works great. however every day after boot same thing must happen only once a day.

i wonder if others see the same.
thanks

Hi,

Thanks, can you confirm if you have a Kensington dock or adapter?

Thanks,
James

Hi,

The logs show a USB connection error.

This could be caused by either the device, an external USB hub connected between the device and the USB host controller/root hub, or a faulty USB cable.

I'd start by changing the USB cable and the port you are connecting it to.

Thanks,
James

HI,
i changed the cable and the USB port. same issue happened today
i made one log before i unplug and re plug 48GEVQU_20151013_101435
second one is after i re plug the device.
i does not feel like hardware problem.
it only happens after windows boot within 5 to 10 min or so and and after i re plug it works solid all day, more than 12 hours.

thanks

forgot to mention that it's directly connected to the computer, no hub
and i did try more than one usb port and other cables.
if it was hardware issue, it would happen more randomly. not once a day and only after booting the computer and within 3 to 15 minutes from booting.
