After a Windows 10 system update last night the Displaylink ethernet and audio are not working. I have downloaded and installed Displaylink 7.9 but still not working. Windows says that it cannot find driver software for the device. When I click on the downloaded 7.9 it says that DisplayLink Graphics is already up to date.

The Windows update installed was security update KB3124263.

Any ideas how to resolve the issue would be appreciated.

Hi Peter,

Can you check the steps in the Ethernet part of this FAQ for next steps?

Try running regedit, go to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network and delete key config. I have to do this after any upgrade to DisplayLink to get my laptop ethernet working (not the ethernet on the DisplayLink device - it doesn't break). Drove me crazy until I found this thread http://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63566
