cannot extend on windows 10

switched to a new system today, downloaded the latest version of displaylink software.

I can see both monitors and work off of the main monitor, but I cannot succesfully extend, that is, when I extend to monitor 2, I cannot access monitor 2.
on windows 8.1 I could move the mouse between the two monitors after extending.

am I missing a step?

so I ran the cleaner tool, rebooted, reinstalled, and now I get it switching continuously between the two monitors.

have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but it keeps going back to the constant switching between monitors.

Hey Captain,

You've met an issue we are working on and are validating a fix for.
Can you try the following as a workaround for now?
