I work in IT support and as we hired new designers I reissued some older Sager laptops. They have Nvidia GTX 660M and GTX 770M graphics cards.
The laptops work fine with CET Designer until the DisplayLink software is installed and the subsequent reboots are performed. At this point, with dual monitors working, CET Designer is no longer handled by the Nvidia card. This prevents 3D features from being activated, among other problems.
We have no problem with our MSI's running GTX 970M cards.
I've tried several Nvidia drivers from 320 to the latest 361.
Tried DisplayLink 6.2, 7.4, and 7.9.
Windows 8.1 fully patched with CET Designer 6.5.2.0 fully patched.
The docking station is a Dell USB 3.0 universal.
