Macbook pro reboots when connected to displaylink device

My macbook pro (13in, mid 2012) reboots after being plugged into the pluggable displaylink docking station after about 5 mins.

Is there a known fix for this issue?

Thanks for your report.
Could you please gather logs when next time when you hit this problem after reboot.
Please follow this instruction (http://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/755301-how-to-report-mac-os-x-issues-to-displaylink) to get Support Tool and gather logs.

In addition to the logs collected with Support Tool - could you examine your Console/System Diagnostic Reports and/or Console/User Diagnostic Reports if contains any DisplayLink dump files with relative timestamp? Please attach them to the gathered logs zip file.
