Does anyone know if the StarTech USB32VGAES is supported?
I looked on an amazon comment (https://www.amazon.com/Startech-USB32VGAES-External-Monitor-Adapter/product-reviews/B00H91BRZU/ref=cm_cr_dp_synop?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=recent#R1YND1DFEQT5PC) and it appears to be supported, however, the StarTech website (https://www.startech.com/AV/USB-Video-Adapters/slim-usb-3-vga-adapter~USB32VGAES) says otherwise.
I've got the product here in my hand and tried testing it out on a macbook air and then macbook pro, both mid-2013 models. I installed the latest mac drivers of Displaylink, restarted my computers, and tried it on my external 27" displays. The VGA cables seem to work on my thunderbolt/vga adapters, so I'm stuck.
I downloaded the Displaylink Information app (also called the support tool (http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=129)) and can't decipher the printout.
