I have a ThinkPad laptop connected to me Lenovo ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock and have been using it without issue for months.
I have my keyboard, mouse, network cable and monitor connected.
A few weeks ago, my monitor started playing up (not coming on) - The first few times I would jiggle the cable a bit and it would come on. Then, it just stopped coming on at all.
My network is still operational.
My Keyboard and mouse are still operational.
I switched the cable from the bottom port to the top port - still not working.
I changed cables and tried a new one in both ports - still not working.
I switched monitors and tried both cables in both ports - still not working.
I removed the device from device manager and re-installed the drivers - still not working.
I plugged the monitor directly into the laptop and it works fine.
I think the DisplayLink device is faulty but I thought I would ask the experts before writing it off completely
