View Full Version : Displaylink can't display when install Nvdia Driver

i have a laptop and 2 external monitor. first monitor i used it with my graphic card gt750 used HDMI port and second monitor with ORICO USB external Graphic card, it's work fine But When i check system it say i didn't use my gt750

but external graphic card work fine
then i go to software update and check it say that i use just open source driver and then i go to update driver to nvidia driver

, now system can see my gt750

but another monitor with ORICO USB external Graphic card disappear, And i have no idea why. Thanks for the advice.

DisplayLink Ubuntu driver is a DRM/KMS-compatible driver, and can only work together with other DRM/KMS-compliant drivers.
NVIDIA's proprietary driver cannot be used at the moment, as we need proper PRIME support for sharing resources between GPUs.
The open-source driver, noveau, does support PRIME and should be used instead.
