I have a Dell XPS 12 9250 laptop, Windows 10, and am using the Plugable USB C docking station. My external monitor will go off for 10 seconds at random intervals then come back on.
I have checked Intel's website for newer USB 3.0 drivers and non are indicated. I did just update and install the DisplayLink drivers, but this does not seem to make a difference.
I verified that the USB C dock creates the issue by disconnecting from the doc and connecting directly to the external monitor. When this is done, the external monitor is stable.
