Hi displaylink,

when will be get a new, less buggy, more stable DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu driver? The current one (Feburary 2017) doesn't seem to work with the recent (4.4+ kernel) so well..

At the moment I can use my D3100 docking station only as an USB/Ethernet/Audio hub....
HDMI/Displayport doesn't work so well anymore, despite the hack with the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf ....

could you please keep us updated?

yours truly,
linux/open source community :)

It's still not working, I cannot use my Dell D3100 for HDMI and VGA (only audio, and usb and ethernet works).

This is unacceptable. I have not shelled out 150 Euros to not be able to use video on this dockingstation.
Please open-source the drivers if Displaylink doesn't have the resources (time and enough manpower) to work on fixing this issues for us. The open-source community will happily work on it.

Thank you.

Is anyone from DisplayLink can comment on Item 3 from this thread?

I also have to say that I still not upgraded this tablet from Ubuntu 16.10 to 17.04 due to issues mentioned above in this thread. Still waiting for release with proper 17.04 support.
