ASUS MB168 not working with MacBook Pro 2012

Hi,

I just bought an ASUS MB168 portable screen to work with my MacBook Pro 2012. I have the installation CD. Everything looks like it installs properly and the system restarts, but the ASUS display just does not work. I've tried it 3 times now.

Any ideas?

Hi Erika,

The two most common reasons for this kind of product can be older drivers or not enough power for the display.
You can try the latest macOS driver from here: http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macos
And for the power, using an externally powered hub between the Mac and the monitor.
