Upgraded to 1.4.210, but monitor is not recognized now

On Ubuntu 16.04.3, with the latest DisplayLink driver installed (previous version had been uninstalled). My external monitor cannot be recognized now. The log file is attached. Thanks.

I think the problem is that the dlm.service was not starting with the OS. Restarting the dlm service manually, the second monitor got recognized. But I am still not sure what is the root cause for this issue. Any insight would be appreciated.
