I have hp all in one pc with no dvi or svga out. Bought iogear usb to dvi in hopes of outputing to my tv. Processor is AMD E2 -2000 1.75 ghz Dual Core 4gb ram .This has apu laptop type components.usb 2.0. Windows 8.1 . Really need ta get this workin. If my screen goes I wanna have backup. Now the software sticks at system compatablity check. I went to hp's driver site and installed current graphics and network drivers. Still stuck at system compatability screen.I down loaded the compatablity check program and says pretty much the same thing. What gives here what am I doing wrong?

Hello and welcome,

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue.

Would you please be to follow the steps in the last link of my forum signature (How to report issues to DisplayLink for a speedy resolution (http://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/544810)) to use our Customer Support Tool which will create a ZIP file with diagnostic information?
You can then upload the zip file here as only DisplayLink employees can download them.

From the data, I will be able to see which rule is hanging. We also have a way to override the compatibility checker if we need to.
We do this check as we prefer to refuse to install on incompatible configuration instead of risking creating machine crashes.

Kind regards,
Alban

Stuck on install fixed.I went to the amd site and downloaded the cataylist drivers. I misunderstood manufactuer driver ment Amd and not Hewlet Packard. At first it played video with a nasty tracking line thru the middle of my videos.I thought unistalling and going with usb to svga might be the answer (I had bought both types from ebay) . The uninstall didn't take but when pulled out the usb as my pc was shuting down my desktop immediately resized itself to a lower resolution. When I booted back up, and played video thru to tv , the nasty tracking line thru the middle of the videos was fixed. My desktop is still at a lower resolution but I stretched it cataylist driver "scale image to full panel size". As I play around with these controls I'll probably figure out how to get the desktop back to the higher resolution but I am more than happy with this product.Being able to play my downloaded videos on my tv was just what I wanted.Thank you to all the engineers who made this stuff, you got one happy fellow here.
