Every time I install a new version I have to manually run RegEdit to enable the GammaRamp (NightLight / f.lux) and would vote for it to be enabled by default?

For those who don't know:
1. Run RegEdit
2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DisplayLink\Core
3. Add new "String Value"
4. Set Name to: "EnableGammaRamp" and Value to "true"

Hello,

It's not released because it has problems.
When the feature is implemented properly and passes quality testing, it will be enabled by default.
This is currently scheduled for later this year.

Kind regards,
Alban

Hello,
A team has been allocated and is assessing the work.
When a new estimate is available, I will be able to share an estimated delivery date.
Today, it doesn't fit in our next major release v9.0 release end of August/early September.
Kind regards,
Alban

I noticed that Nightlight in Windows 10 is not working on the screens from my Docking Station. Is the lack of the mentioned feature the reason it is not working?

Any update on when v9 is coming and if the feature is in there?

Hello Floris,
It is, yes. Gamma LUT (look up table support) allows:
- Colour correction,
- F.lux / night mode / blue light reduction (or any other colour),
- Monitor calibration.
9.0 Alpha is out now (http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?d=192) and the release is scheduled for early to mid November.
Kind regards,
Alban
