Hi
I was running two external Apple monitors on an MacBook Pro 17" using OSX 10.6.8 for an editing program designed for this OSX (ie FCP7) using a DisplayLink USB3.0 adapter
There were no problems for years until one day I had to reformat the HDD in order to be able re-install all components of the basic editing suite and basically clean up the HDD.
Now I am finding that I cannot install the DisplayLink driver (V2.2) on the system HDD which has even less on it than before.
I get "Installation Failure" each time
I have tried the DayLink suggestions about permissioning to no avail
Any suggestions woud be appreciated,
