Hi...

I have an HP ZBook running a fresh Windows 10 Enterprise x64, build 15063. I installed DisplayLink graphics software 8.6 M0; however, when I plugged in my DisplayLink device, I received a code 10 (see attached). The device works fine on both my MacBook and Windows 7 systems.

Any hint or clue where to start would be great!

Thanks in advance,
Liem

Hi

Thanks for the screenshots. The device is code 10 is not DisplayLink, as it has a Vendor ID (VID) of 2109. DisplayLink's VID is 17E9. A quick google for this VID leads me to this Plugable page for a USB hub, but this is not a DisplayLink product.

So it looks like whatever you have, there is a VIA USB3.0 hub in error code 10 state and our chip is downstream of this which is why we can't work. I'd suggest using something like this guide to try and solve the code 10 issue on the USB hub:
