Closing Lid on Laptop exeperience lag with Targus DisplayLink

Hi,
I have a Lenovo Yoga laptop. I set the ''what happens when you close lid'' to 'Nothing' but when i swith from the laptop to the external monitor with the Targus DisplayLink dock my system lags seriously its barely usable. When i open up the lid everything is back to normal.

Help wanted please...

Hello,

Would you please look at the third link in my signature which shows how to use the tool to collect logs?
Also, do you have examples of what you mean by lag? For instance, doing what? This is key to understand where this might come from. A video of the behaviour from a smartphone could be a way to show that.
