Firstly, thanks for providing the DisplayLink-Software, including to us Linux-users!
My first impression was pretty good. The instructions could be updated? All those packages as mentioned on the site were not found, however, in kubuntu.
I was just brave and ran the programme, and immediately after reboot and plugging in my second monitor popped up. Alas, I lost the built-in keyboard. Hmm, I'll look at that later and currently work from an external one.
A good improvement would be to offer the software as .deb; if for reasons of 'closed source' with a ppa to be added? Then it could at least get included into the system of dependencies.
Almost forgotten, I ought to state what I'm running: lenovo Helix 2, kubuntu 18.04 and the lenovo Pro Dock.
