DisplayLink does not work with True tone?

I installed the DisplayLink drive with my Dell D6000 and connected with a few different 4k displays (not at same time). None of them work in true tone mode while the internal display still can work in true tone mode.

anyone know some workaround trick?

Same problem here. I reached out to tech support here and they said:


Thank you for contacting DisplayLink,

Unfortunately, this is not something that is currently supported in macOS, this functionality is something may be released in a future driver release.

It seems that macOS lacks some display driver commands that would allow this to happen using the DisplayLink product. =\
