Necessary Driver installation Windows 10 1903

Hi, im soon going to be using the D6000 dock with a new laptop. but with the 1903 update of windows is it necesary to install the Driver from the Displaylink site?, or should i let Windows update install the driver it needs?.

Hello Franz,

Either will work.
I am not sure Windows 10 v1903 has the inbox basic Ethernet driver working, so you might need to be on the WiFi to get it, unless you buy a Lenovo laptop.
We're on the standard Lenovo Windows 10 factory image on all their laptops, so connect and it lights up. We are also inboxed in other selected platforms, but I don't have an exact list.
