Hello,

When I play a game on my built-in display on my Surface it plays great but when connected to an external monitor using a USB-C cable through my D6000 dock, the performance is noticeably worse. The graphics seem choppy. I thought that the dock just passed the video through and should not affect game performance. Is there anything that I can do? I've updated all my drivers. Here are my specs:

Microsoft Surface Pro 7

CPU: Intel i5-1035G4
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 940
Graphics Driver: 26.20.100.7641 (12/21/2019)
BIOS date: 12/20/2019
Memory: 8 GB

Monitor

HP 25f

Windows 10 Home

Version 1909 (10.0.18363)

Dell D6000 Dock

M4TJG Mfg date: Jan 2019
Driver: 9.3.3147.0 (1/29/2020)

Note that I'm not running a 4K monitor and it's not at a high resolution.

DisplayLink does not "pass the video through" - this is how it works: https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/corporate/how

But basically, some CPU/GPU resources are used by the DisplayLink driver. Try Windowed or Borderless Windowed mode - it could work better.

Reinstalling the game did not solve the problem, still the same. Drivers are fine, but constantly throws to the main page of the Launcher. Last time it worked, now even third party applications bonza spins mobile casino does not run
I do not think that the problem with the server, although it may also affect. But maybe you have a conflict, you need to look at the code. Someone here writes that there is a server minnecraft, but he how it interacts with other games. I used it but I was able to install it on a laptop and there were no problems and crashes
