Hello,

I have usb docking station UNITEK y-3704 with Displaylink adapter. I'm connecting it to my laptop (Thinkpad L570 on WIN10) via USB 3.0 and to Docking station I have connected 21:9 screen: LG 29um69g-b. I have installed latest drivers with DisplayLinkMenager (version: 9.3.3147.0)... However no matter what, I can't get resolution 2560x1080.

- I have checked in windows dispaly settings and I don't see any possibility to get this resolution.
- Like I was telling before I have updated drivers to latest version
- I was trying to force manual settings via: CRU_1.4.2
- Checked if any of described elements is not supporting such resolution (anwser: no)

All that for nothing... Also I was trying to use intel graphic menager, but displays connected via docking station are not visible there, I think cause PC think that DisplayLink is separate graphic card.

If it is possible, please give my advice, what can I do to get 2560x1080 resolution.
Many thanks in advance,

In same time I was consulting my issue with Unitek support. They are telling that their docking station on DisplayLink chipset is not supporting 21:9 resolutions.

I am afraid that HDMI port of Y-3704 doesn't support resolution 2560x1080 at display 21:9, cause display ratio 21:9 was not available when Y-3704 was released over 7 years ago and the chipset solution didn't take it into account.
When we produce this product, there is not 21:9 screen product. So it is not suitable for your screen.

However they are giving my table with max resolutions for DL-3700 where are:
16:9 - 2560x1440
16:9 - 1960x1080
==================
so even when both resolutions from above. are supported, then is no possibility to run 2560x1080 ?

Hello,

Yes, that is correct, 2560x1080 is not supported by the device.

Best regards,
