I cant get my dock working with my macbook pro

hi everyone,

i ve just connected the following to my alogic dock:

1x screen hdmi
1x focusrite sound interferface
1x usb mouse
1x usb keyboard

evertime i power it up the lights come on all the usb connected gear and the screen does not come on at all.

i have the dock connected via a usb C cable with a usb a conversion connector and still no luck.

I HAVE ENABLED THE DISPLAYLINK EXTENSION IN THE SYSTEM SECURITY PREFERENCE OF MY MAC.

Is anyone else having problems such as this?

I am running 10.15.5 on the macbook.

Th macbook is from 2016

Any help would be appreciated :)
