Win10 Night light support

I am using a thinkpad hybrid usb-c with usb-a dock for my win10 thinkpad. However, the night light feature seems not supported on external monitor. I have done a lot of searching and realized the night light feature only work for certain displaylink chips. I have also tried to add EnableGammaRamp in the registry but it did not work.

I am wondering if it is technically possible for the night light feature to be enabled for thinkpad hybrid usb-c with usb-a dock (40AF0135US) ?

Can anyone confirm if the thinkpad hybrid usb-c with usb-a dock (40AF0135US) is a DL-6950 based product?
If so, the night light only works from the displayport output.
