Hi all,

16" MBP w/ intel
Catalina 10.15.7
D6000 USB-C dock with A03 firmware

With the legacy drivers I don't get a signal on my single external monitor.

With the DL Manager 1.3, I can get my second screen up but if I attempt clamshell mode, the screen will lock every 10-15 seconds.

I've seen plenty of issues for this on the M.1 macs with Big Sur but I can't find any info on the older intel MBPs.

(Also, strangely I need to 'extend' to my second monitor instead of duplicate because on logins/reboots, my mouse stops moving after it's crossed 1/3rd of my screen. It stops as if it's reached the side of the monitor, but I can see it clearly hasn't.)

Solved my 5.2.5 issue (and now able to do everything I want w/ clamshell working!)

Fully uninstall 5.2.5
Turn laptop off
(Then I had to disable csrutil and delete the old kext which would never delete during the uninstall: )
Boot to recovery, open terminal, csrutil disable
Reboot again
Navigate to: Macintosh HD\Library\StagedExtensions\Library\Extensions\
Delete "DisplaylinkDriver.kext"
Install 5.2.5
Reboot normally
Enable Screen recording
(Then you'll probably want to renable csrutil: )
Reboot to recovery again
Terminal: csrutil enable

The hidden one in there of course is deleting the bad kext which can't be done without disabling csrutil
