Hello -- I have a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro that is running OS 10.15.7.

I have successfully connected two external monitors using a StarTech USB3DOCKH2DP Docking Station. I am running DisplayLink 1.3.1.

The external screens are working as expected when the laptop is open. HOWEVER, there is an issue when I close the laptop screen (clam shell mode).

With the laptop screen closed, the external monitors stay on for ~10 seconds before going to sleep. The monitors turn back on after clicking my USB connected mouse a few times.

Any ideas on how to stop this issue??

Clamshell mode is not supported on Intel-based Macs running DisplayLink Application Manager 1.3.1. DisplayLink speaks to this in their knowledge base article here --> https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1963276-clamshell-and-rotation-support-on-macos-big-sur-11
