Intermittent blackouts and reconnects

Having a problem that seems to be widespread in the world of DisplayLink devices: it appears that my new DisplayLink-based docking station (https://www.qgeem.com/products/docking-station-qgeem-4k-60hz-quadruple-display-usb-c-laptop-docking-station-for-windows-mac-os-thunderbolt-3-system-dp-hdmi-usb-3-1-100w-pd-charging-ethernet-sd-tf-card-slot-audio) either reboots every so often, or gets disconnected from my laptop (a Thunderbolt 4 new LG Gram (https://www.costco.com/lg-gram-17-intel-evo-platform-laptop---11th-gen-intel-core-i7-1195g7---2560-x-1600---windows-11.product.100794680.html)). The two are connected via a 10 ft. high-quality USB 3.2 Gen 2.2 cable (https://smile.amazon.com/USB-Cable-3-1-USB-C-10ft/dp/B089FV33QX).

All drivers, BIOS and FW, incl. DisplayLink, are the newest.
