Displaylink v 1.7.1
Mac OS 12.3.1
M1 Macbook air

Using a displaylink compatible hub to connect to M1 Air.

DL is recognizing my Sony TV from 2009, but not my brand new LG 24MP60G-B https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B093R6C6B4/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Step 1: both monitors plugged into hub via HDMI = 3 monitors
Step 2: LG monitor plugged into non-DL compatible hub + SonyTV plugged into DL compatible hub = 3 monitors
Step 3: Sony TV plugged into non-DL compatible hub + LG plugged into DL compatible hub = 2 monitors (SonyTV and laptop) and DL notification that no DL compatible monitors are connected.

Are there monitors that displaylink does not support? If so is there a list of where I can find what monitors are or are not supported?

Thank you.

Hello,

If your monitor is running through correct video port, at supported resolution etc it should be fine.
Can you please tell me what is the DisplayLink powered device that you have exactly?

Also, is the LG monitor connected via HDMI - HDMI cable?

Have the same problem but unfortunately didnt found a solution for it.

Monitors are connected via UGREEN USB C Dockingstation, 12 in 1 HDMI & Display Port.

Can you please provide more information such as - what are the monitors and if they are using HDMI to HDMI and DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables or different confgurations?

Also do you have DisplayLink Manager installed and started?
If it is not installed please make sure to download it here (https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos) and you can follow this (https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1932214-displaylink-manager-app-for-macos-introduction-in) article for installation information.

If the issue persists please let us know.

Sure.

Downloaded the latest version of Display Link and also selected the experiments mode with the resolution 3880 & 2560.

Screens are all recognized.

The main problem is that the LG 28 inch (https://www.lg.com/de/monitore/lg-28mq780-b) is only recognized/can be used with a limited resolution.

According to UGREEN, it is not possible to select a lower resolution because the font is too small in the native resolution of 2560x2880.

Is there any way Display Link can add more resolutions?

Thanks very much

I am experiencing the game thing. How do you fix the resolution issue?
