Hello community :)

I've an MacBook Pro M1 with one external screen. I would like add an new screen by using DisplayLink, but i would like use this screen with vertical position and with closed MacBook.

It's it possible with this DisplayLink (https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/CADPDL2HDMI/) ? This combination of two screens, one vertical and with the MacBook closed work ?

Thank you community !

Rotation of DisplayLink-powered displays on Apple silicon Macs (M1 or M2) is supported via the DisplayLink Manager Application --> https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/1984314-displaylink-manager-app-rotation-for-apple-m1-on-m

In order to use a Mac with the lid closed, specific requirements must be met. Apple speaks to these requirements under the 'Connect your display' section within this support document --> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202351

Oh thank you rboerner !

So this configuration is possible with a MacBook Pro M1? I'm really happy and I'm going to quickly buy a displaylink :)
