Hello. I have purchased several displayLink USB to VGA/HDMI converters and none of them work on our three computers. I installed the provided driver, version 1.0.1.60. The driver installs but then nothing works. I've tested other drivers with varying results (hard reboots and BSODs). Could you help me? Thanks.

The driver version you provided is not a DisplayLink driver version for Windows. This suggests that the products you purchased do NOT have DisplayLink technology inside.

If that is in fact the case, then DisplayLink will not be able to assist you.

However, the device number corresponds to a displaylink device. Maybe your chips have been counterfeited.

Thank you anyway for your answer.

Hello,
What device numbers are you referring to?
What is the device Hardware ID in Windows Device Manager?
There is no DisplayLink driver v1.x for Windows 7 or Windows 10.
