I have a pluggable device that I use to support 2 external monitors. If I open certain applications they freeze when the device is connected. The applications are Zoom and Slack. I think the issue has something to do with them having the ability to access screen content.
Is there a way to avoid these applications from freezing? If I unplug the device and open the apps then replug in the device it usually works but doing this every day can get old.
I am running the latest 1.8 display link drivers and this issue has happened to me on both the new Ventura OS and the previous version of MacOS.
