Hi.

At our school we have multiple Promethean interactive screens connected to Windows 10 laptops via USB3 docks (mix of Startech USB3SDOCKHD, Toshiba, Wavlink UG39DK3).

The Promethean ActivPanel6 work great through these via Displaylink drivers - HDMI > dock > Win10 laptop via USB.

However, the Promethean ActivPanel7 do not pick up the sound from the Win10 laptops when connected in the same way. The issue is consistent when we use different boards, different docks and different laptops. I have attached images of sound properties when connected to the respective screens.

So far to trouble shoot we have:

Switched HDMI leads and USB leads around - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7
Switched docks around - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7
Tested all AP6 and AP7 around school - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7
Tried different models of Win10 laptops - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7
Connected to screen via HDMI directly - audio works fine on AP6 and AP7
Used the driver removal tool and reinstalled latest drivers - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7
Used different USB leads (USB 2 and USB3) to connect dock to laptops - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7
Connected HDMI to screens through a USB C hub - audio works fine on AP6 and AP7
Ensured f/w is up-to-date on all Promethean screens - sound works on AP6, no sound on AP7

Any thoughts on what else we could try? Is there perhaps a known good older driver that would solve this issue before I try legacy drivers one-by-one?

Thank you.
