I know I'm not the only one, so I took some hours to go through all the available hoops, from cleaning the headers sudo apt remove --purge linux-headers-* and so forth, installing the most recent evdi-dkms, whatnot.
The most recent driver installs perfectly okay, but after reboot the screen briefly shows an error, that the DisplayLink driver could not be started.
Since then, dmesg shows all few seconds module: x86/modules: Skipping invalid relocation target, existing value is nonzero for type 1.
I don't think the install found problems (see attachment)
Any hint will be appreciated.
