macOS Sonoma 14.2.1,

Everything was working great moments ago, when I

Accidentally clicked the "Stop Sharing" button on the purple icon.

Now my display manager no longer works. Only one of the display show content (because of Airplay not because of DisplayLink Manager)

I tried quit DL Manager, uninstall and re-install the app, restarting my macbook, turning on and off the share screen permission button in privacy setting.

Nothing worked.

Now the displaylink manager's window shows under "Display Toggle" (suppose to show the my display connected): shows no Display-enabled display connected.

How do I fix this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I found I needed to go into the DisplayLink Manager App, and look for the display you are trying to mirror to. You may find the "Display rotation and toggle" option has been set to "Off". Once I slid this option back on, I was able to mirror again.

I accidentally pressed the stop sharing button and now DL Manager quits every time I connect my USB C dock which worked previously perfectly fine.

tried to uninstall- install, turn off and on etc...

ScreenRecoring permission are activated.

if you have this problem. run this

https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macOS-installation-cleaner

then reinstall and plug the dock back in

I hit the button accidentally. Now "No DisplayLink-enabled display detected" appears. I tried re-installing DisplayLink driver again and again but no luck for me. Restarting MacBook didn't work. I only saw it worked with my login screen because of the installed login extension.
I'm using MacBook pro M2 running on macos Sequoia 15.0.1 with Kensington SP4750P.
