latest ubuntu kernel 6.6.6 update breaks evdi-dkms

my ubuntu 22.04 got an kernel update which broke my dislplaylink:

ERROR (dkms apport): kernel package linux-headers-6.6.6-76060606-generic is not supported

I tried reinstalling evid-dkms to no avail...

@CyberTAZ, can you elaborate on what tweaks were required to get it to work? I followed the steps on https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comm...mment/kd5uqyw/, but my external monitor is still not recognized.
