Annoying blue icon coming and going on macOS 14.5

Hello everyone,

since the latest release (1.10.2) and the newest macOs (14.5) the blue icon in the menubar that is telling that the screen is recorded by the DisplayLink Manager app is showing and going and showing and going. This is very annoying.

Is that a known issue? Is a fix pending?

In the old versions it was just constantly showing this blue icon in the menubar.

Ok it seems the macOs update is the reason. I downgraded to Version 1.9 and 1.8 and both have the same issue now.

Interestingly I just installed OBS and started a screen capture and here the blue icon does not disappear. So it seems to be something that the display manager is doing is causing macOS to let is disappear an reappear

Any updates about that? It's pretty annoying. I didn't update my macos version to the latest one maybe that will help?
