I've found that switchingbetween full-screen applications on a displaylink-connected monitor on sequoia can abnormally cause windows manager CPU usage to spike at some point, causing freeze significantly and even the entire system, the problem had not arisen before

I use the M 3macbook Air

I am having the same issue, and is now getting worse after 15.1, I am on the latest display link driver, the window manager gets stuck at 100% and it is very difficult to switch windows or do anything, keyboard and mouse do work, If I remove the Dell docking there is no lag.

Please issue a patch immediately.

To all of those who have posted within this thread, if the original manufacturer of your product has been unable to provide support, then I would suggest reporting the issue to DisplayLink directly by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/755301-how-to-report-macos-issues-to-displaylink
