Dell WD22TB4 with macbook pro m1

I currently have a Dell WD22TB4 dock, updated to the latest software version, connected to a MacBook Pro M1, with two Dell S2722QC monitors connected via USB-C cables. Unfortunately, only one external monitor works. The MacBook Pro is running the latest version of macOS, and the DisplayPort drivers are up to date. Additionally, I’d like to mention that I previously used a Dell D6000 dock, and everything worked flawlessly.

I’d also like to add that I tried various connection setups following the instructions on this https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000124312/dell-thunderbolt-dock-wd19tb-and-apple-usb-c-hosts#Dual_Monitor, but it made no difference. Depending on how I connect them, one monitor works, and the other doesn’t, alternating between the two.

For your reference, DisplayLink technology is combination of software and hardware. The Dell WD22TB4 docking station does NOT have DisplayLink technology inside of it, which means that DisplayLink will not be able to assist you.

The Dell WD22TB4 is a Thunderbolt 4 docking station that relies completely on the display output capabilities of the host computer in order to drive the connected displays.

A MacBook Pro with an M1 processor has an internal limitation in which it can only support one external display via a Thunderbolt docking station. This internal limitation of your laptop is why only one external display is working.

If you wish to add to external monitors to your Mac, you will need a docking station based on DisplayLink technology. Again for your reference, the Dell D6000 docking station DOES have DisplayLink technology inside of it, which is why the result differed.
