I have seen various posts about the display-link driver and Ubuntu 22.04 not working and thought I could add my details to the pot.
I have run the SLSupportTool and will attach that.
I have worked through 3 or 4 solutions posted previously, and with some isolation testing (I'm slowly learning Hardware things...) I was able to determine that the dock I'm using is the Lenovo 40AY
My specific issue is previously I had a HDMI monitor and a DisplayPort monitor connected to my Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop all working fine.
Ubuntu upgraded to 22.04 and since then I haven't been able to detect the monitors in the dock.
I have removed the HDMI monitor from the dock, to go directly to the laptop port and that works fine.
Like others, I have Windows dual booting and can detect both external monitors there. This seems to specifically be a Linux issue.
Please let me know if I can provide any other helpful info.
Cheers,
Nate
