I've got a 2k 165hz display that I use with display link on my M1 MacBook pro.
I'm running DL version 1.11.0 (Build 28)
MacOS 15.2
In the display settings I have the option to run the display at 100hz, however if I select this I get an intermittent freeze that occurs mostly when I am typing text. (into a terminal, code editor, notes app, etc)
I'll type a word, for example (Something) and after my last keystroke (g) the g will not appear on the screen. (Somethin)
It will not appear until I either press another keystroke or wiggle my mouse. This also occurs when backspacing and it can be very disorienting.
Changing the refresh rate to 60hz fixes the issue so it's not a huge deal, but I'm curious what could possibly be going on here.
I should mention the monitor is a OLED not sure if that has anything to do with it.
