Hi,
I have a laptop with two GPUs onboard: an NVIDIA RTX A500 and an integrated Intel GPU.
I'm using Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and have installed the latest DisplayLink *4K drivers from the official website: https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/ubuntu.
For the NVIDIA card, I have installed drivers version 560.35.07 (I also tested 565.57), but when I try to use the docking station, I experience something like screen tearing or distortion (I'm not sure of the correct term in English). A screenshot of the issue is attached to this post.

I’ve tried several solutions suggested on various forums, but none of them have worked.

Maybe someone of you had the same issue and know what to do, because apparently, I have to exchange DisplayLink with maybe hdmi hub or sth else.

Closed source Nvidia drivers are not supported. DisplayLink speaks to this here --> https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/641668-known-issues-with-displaylink-ubuntu-support

"Closed source AMD/NVIDIA drivers are incompatible with DisplayLink driver. Please use open-source AMD/NVIDIA drivers instead."

I switched the drivers into the open kernel version 560.35.05 but it does not fix the issue :(

I couldn't find any reasonable solution there:(

I would suggest reporting the issue directly to DisplayLink by following the process outlined here --> https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/757047-how-can-i-report-ubuntu-issues-to-displaylink
