Hi,

I'm having trouble with getting the second external monitor going. My setup is a MacBook Air M3 with Satechi hub.

Details:

Satechi

Two external Acer monitors:

The only difference that my version has two HDMI ports and 1 VGA, no displayports

One is connected with a HDMI cable in the only HDMI port available on the Satechi.
One is connected with a HDMI cable with HDMI to usb C adapter in de USB C port next to the HDMI port.

Seperately from eachother they both work fine as an external monitor but when I plugin the second only the first gets signal. So it's not about the adapter or cable I guess.

In the system settings I only see one external monitor.

The external keyboard and mouse work fine.

I installed DiplayLink but no solution.

Any ideas?

Thank you all!

I've just taken a look at the specs of the hub on the Satchi (https://satechi.net/products/pro-hub-slim) website. It doesn't list anywhere that the hub is DisplayLink capable. Which is probably the reason as to why it won't support 2 monitors.

You'll need to look into an alternative solution, one that specifically supports DisplayLink.

Hope that helps!
