Any chance to get evdi v1.14.8 merged to the downloadable Displaylink driver?

The CONFIG_FB bug, which was fixed before christmas 2024, is a bit of an obstacle for my users, who are stuck on on Displaylink 6.0 for now.

Just published DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Ubuntu 6.1.1 which embeds EVDI v1.14.9. Please, navigate to downloads section:

Thanks for the quick reaction. With the past two weeks being so fragmented by public holidays, I don't have any feedback from users yet, but I could confirm that installation works. Will post a followup question in a separate thread. :-)
