M1 Max not working with Plugable UD-ULTC4K

Hi I've had this Plugable UD-ULTC4K for a couple years and been working flawlessly with M1 and M1 Pro MacBooks. But once I connect it to the M1 Max, it gets disconnected automatically after some seconds.

It's not the ports... I'm not sure what the problem is.
