View Full Version : Constant Displaylink Service Stopped

Hi All,
I'm not sure exactly when this began happening but i am sure it was soon after a MacOS Update or a Displaylink Update, but now, all the time (at least 15-20 times a day) the displaylink service gets stopped and it opens the displaylink menu item and says "Your screens have been stopped by the system" and then goes on to say "This can happen if the hard disk space is low. Please free up some space and re‑enable the screens using switches in Displays tab."
I have a 256GB M2 Mac Air 16GB Ram, I constantly have at least 10GB Disk space free, this issue still happens when i free it up to 40GB, I am not nearly out of space but for some reason this happens all the time.
Does anyone else have this issue or a way to resolve it? maybe some way to protect the displaylink process so its not ended by system? I Used to have this happen maybe once in a blue moon but that was genuinly when i ran out of storage but this time, i have loads of storage and it still happens.
I have reached out to support many times to simply be ignored.
TIA.

I'm having the same problem, version Same problem - 1.12.4 (build 90). Would appreciate a quick resolution to this issue, or if there is a known stable version to go back to?

I'm using the latest driver: 1.12.4 (build 90). And the monitors are still disconnecting. I'm using the WavLink WL-UG69PD13 PRO. Starts to do that this week. Any news on that?
I already use the cleaning tool and have reinstalled it 2 or 3 times. Same issue!
