Hello all,

I've just purchased a DisplayLink device and have connected my two monitors (Acer and HP) to my Macbook Pro M1. While both monitors are displaying the screen, they are mirroring each other. Is there any way to get them to have different screens so I can use the screens for different purposes? The DisplayLink manager is not recognizing that I've connected a DisplayLink device.

TIA!

Hello elijahcg,

Firstly, please ensure that you have installed the latest version of DisplayLink Manager (1.12.1).
What is your setup? How your monitors are connected to the docking station?

Once the DisplayLink Manager is running, your monitors are connected and recognized, go to System Preferences -> Display -> Arrangement, uncheck the Mirror Displays box, and choose the arrangement you prefer.

Can you please provide the specific brand and model number of (or a direct web link to) the specific device you are using to connect your two monitors to your Mac?
