I've been using this for over 4 years and it's been working flawless. Up until about a month ago, my monitors continue to randomly disconnect and the driver app freezes to the point where i have to either restart my computer several times or force quit the displaylink and relaunch another several times. In fact, it happened during me typing this.

We are very sorry for your inconvenience.

Aside from installing the latest version of DisplayLink Manager, I can recommend using the DisplayLink End-User Cleaner Tool, and then reinstalling the newest version of our driver.
