Hi everyone, I hope you can help me or lead me in the right direction.
I have a Macbook Air M1with a minisopuru (Model MD6950D) docking station, two external monitors (MSI Pro MP271A).
Prior to the update to Tahoe, it worked flawlessly. I would tap my bluetooth keyboard and both monitors would come to life.
Since the update, I have to power cycle the docking station and/or open the lid on my Macbook to get the monitors to come on. Sometimes the config it off but that's not my main concern.
I've made sure my settings allow displaylink to access to accessibility, input monitoring and of course, system & screen audio recording. I've installed the latest displaylink software (14.0) and the login screen extension. Settings in picture. I've also tried older displaylink software.
I also tried to change the setting in battery section to prevent auto sleeping (waste of power) but it didn't work either.
The only thing I didn't do is roll back the macOS, which I didn't backup, so I would loose a bunch of data. (Stupid I know)
I pretty much use my macbook as a desktop and I leave my docking station powered on, along with my monitors.
Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you
Szymon

Hello Weiser,
I'm sorry to hear about your degraded product experience. I think this case requires a proper analysis, for which we need more debug data. Could you please follow an instruction here -> How to report macOS issues to DisplayLink (https://support.displaylink.com/knowledgebase/articles/755301-how-to-report-macos-issues-to-displaylink)
and raise a support ticket for that?
Thank you and regards,
Szymon

I just sent in a ticket after running the support tool.
The file size is too large (>25mb) to send via google.
I sent a couple of folders(Root & Crash report), but not sure that will be enough.
Do you have any suggestions?

I have what sounds like the same issue. Macbook Pro M1, Targus DV4k docking station. I'm currently using DisplayLink 1.12.4.
I use my MBP mostly in docked, clamshell mode, but sometimes use it without the dock. Wake and monitor detection seems to work most of the time as long as I haven't used the MBP without the dock. If I have used it without the dock (e.g. opened and woken it), I generally have to open the lid and power cycle the dock in order for the monitors to be detected properly

Same issue as above - was greeted with a message about using an approved displaylink cable - yet this setup has worked flawlessly for years. Only new changes are Tahoe & DisplayLink14

Hi Weiser,
Thanks for the logs, will take a look. Quick test on a similar setup you described doesn't confirm we have a clear regression. It needs more analysis.

Hi,
I have a similar issue in my enterprise environment. Issue started occurring after Tahoe 26.0.0. update & Display Link 14.0 install.
UGREEN Revodok Pro 209 USB C Docking Station
MacBook Pro, Apple M3
ASUS ProArt PA278QV
ASUS ProArt PA278QV (Two monitor environment)
Both connected to UGREEN dock with Display Ports
The MacBook Pro, Apple M3 is currently on Tahoe26.0.1 but issue persists. Almost every time that system sleeps one monitor will not come back on, sometimes both monitors will not come back on. General troubleshooting (unplugging, replugging cables, restarting computer, powercycling dock, sometimes fix it but sometimes don't for no clear reason)
I've also tried swapping out the MacBook Pro, Apple M3 running Tahoe 26.0.1 for a MacBook Pro, Apple M2. The issue does not occur as frequently on the Apple M2. Only a fraction of the time when it sleeps will the monitors not come back on.
What's the recommended way to upload the logs? I receive a 413 Request Entity Too Large (nginx) error when trying to upload logs generated from the SupportTool.

I never got a resolution for this issue.
I was able to send the log info via Yahoo email. They allow larger files. Displaylink can't replicate the issue. I swapped cables and tried an HDMI (currently using DP) cable with same if not worst results. What I have to do now is power off my dock, open clamshell and power dock back on for it to recognize my two monitors. The conclusion was wait for Apple to provide a software update. Displaylink also recommended a wired keyboard. I didn't want to go there. Let me know if you have better luck.

Hi Alpha,
Could you please raise a separate thread for your problem?

Szymon
