Device: Apple M3 Pro - 11
OS: Mac Tahoe 26.1
Application: Mac for Outlook
Docking Station: HP USB 0 C/A Universal Dock G2

When every we open a encrypted email Displaylink makes the Outlook go invisible. The app needs to be force quit then reopened to bring the Window back up. This can only be seen on the external monitors or while using Teams Screenshare. Monitors that aren't using DisplayLink don't have an issue. It seems like DisplayLink itself is not being able to display the Window on monitors that its using.

I've contacted DisplayLink about this and have used the DisplayLink support tool and the DisplayLink cleaner. So far we have been unable to resolve the issue.

We have also tried rolling back to 1.9.0 and using the latest version of DisplayLink for MacOS, 15.0.

Has anyone else had these issues or have any suggestions?

Hi,

Could you please do one test and share a result here?
Will your workaround with sharing screen in MS Teams still work if you disable "Enhance video conferencing apps" in DisplayLink Manager Settings tab?

Szymon

Yes, it still worked with that enabled.

Hi,

We've identified what the problem is in Outlook and we believe we managed to workaround it in DisplayLink Manager.
Please expect that 15.1 release will fix it. I hope it's going to be available by the end of this week.

Szymon
